Office Refurbishment

We have just completed this incredible two storey office refurbishment at The Cobalt Centre in Coventry.

The client had a unique vision for the project, and they were over the moon with the finished results. The new office environment has a stylish look, that fully embodies the client’s brand. The project took a great deal of coordination with multiple trades involved.

Our first task was to strip out the offices and to take it back to a shell. On the first floor we removed existing walls and a toilet to create a new kitchen and breakfast bar/breakout area. On the ground floor we created a completely new layout to accommodate new toilets and washroom facilities, with PIR lighting and new hand dryers. This included extending the accessible toilet and installing a shower facility and adapting a large cupboard to create a new female toilet. We then also built a new male toilet and a urinal toilet. We also fitted a new kitchen on the ground floor.

We installed new partitioning to create separate office spaces and a boardroom on each floor. We then constructed a new framework with adaptive lighting to create a striking display for the client’s project maps. We then supplied and fitted new flooring throughout, this was a combination of Burmatex carpet tiles laid in bespoke pattern to the office areas, and JHS LVT to the toilets and kitchen areas. We then decorated throughout to give an aesthetically pleasing and sophisticated look.

We also installed additional lighting, replaced all of the data points, and installed new sockets. In addition to this we adapted the fire alarm system to suit the new layout.

We managed to make our client’s vision a reality by adapting the existing space to create a fresh, smart, and tailored workspace to suit their company’s needs, and we worked closely with them throughout the project to achieve this.
